GenoPharm

The GenoPharmR test device is intended to identify a patient’s pharmacogenetic status from genomic DNA extracted from whole blood sample or buccal swab. Information about the pharmacogene genotypes can be used as an aid to clinicians in determining therapeutic strategy and treatment dose for therapeutics that are metabolised by the drug metabolising enzymes gene products. The information provided from this test will supplement therapeutic decision making and should be used in conjunction with routine monitoring by a physician.

GenoPharm® is a pharmacogenomic test and dosing algorithm. GenoPharm® test results may help clinicians make more informed medication decisions for their patients. The GenoPharm® Report presents the results, which contain the patient’s genotype results, phenotype summaries for the 46 genes covered by the GenoPharm® Test and the risk for drug-gene interactions. It then guides the doctor on which medicines to or not to prescribe and dose adjustment recommended.
